Ansaldo Energia is a leading international player in power generation and a key player in the energy transition: its integrated model includes the construction of turnkey power plants, gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and microturbines, support services, and activities in nuclear and renewable energy.

The company, which is controlled by CDP Equity, Gruppo Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, currently employs about 3,300 people and has an international presence through local companies and subsidiaries: in Italy, with the Group headquarters and subsidiaries Ansaldo Green Tech and Ansaldo Nucleare; in Switzerland, with Ansaldo Energia Switzerland; in the United Kingdom, with Ansaldo Nuclear Ltd and in the United Arab Emirates, with Ansaldo Energia Gulf.

The wide presence enables the Group to meet the diverse needs of customers and to best offer its high-value products, thanks to its capabilities as an independent producer.

Ansaldo Energia manages all after-sales aspects related to the Service part, with a wide range of global services: from repair and supply of spare parts to on-site interventions, including overhauls and upgrades, to "full service" in Long Term Service Agreements.

With more than 100 years of experience in the field of electrical and mechanical engineering, the Company is forward-looking and is a leader in the energy transition, focusing strongly on plant digitization, diagnostics and predictive maintenance. This is with a view to further development in the field of hydrogen, which is increasingly significant both on energy storage from renewable sources and in power generation.

To respond even more adequately to the challenges of the ecological transition, Ansaldo Green Tech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ansaldo Energia, was established in 2021 to operate specifically in the field of renewable energy and storage.

In the nuclear field, the activities of the subsidiary Ansaldo Nucleare, equipped with a wide range of high-tech products, are aimed mainly at the dismantling and treatment of radioactive waste; the company is also part of ITER, an ambitious international program aimed at demonstrating the scientific and technological feasibility of fusion as a safe and clean source of energy.
