Innovation Norway

The Brand Norway stand will feature different technologies from Norwegian companies like Multiconsult, Norsk Renewables, Norconsult, Empower New Energy, Scatec Solar, SN Power, Linje Montage among others. The products are in renewable energy technologies, transmission and distribution, ancillary services, engineering procurement and construction, consultancy, to name but a few.

Innovation Norway (IN) will be hosting the Norwegian companies in the pavilion. IN contributes to sustainable growth and exports for Norwegian business and industry through capital and expertise. The institution has presence in all counties in Norway (11 offices) and 23 offices outside of Norway. For offices out of Norway, they are the commercial section of the Norwegian embassy and the official trade promotion organization. The institution assists Norwegian companies with exports, whether they are entering a new market for the first time or expanding an international venture. The focus sectors for the Nairobi office are agriculture technology, energy,  water resource, ICT and any other inquiries that come in. The institution seeks to reduce risk and provide faster access to international markets. Advisory services include verification of market potential, market analysis, market access establishment in the market, meeting potential customers, partner search, cultural understanding, opening doors to authorities, meeting places and events.
